OVERVIEW

• Nectarine Credit is looking for talented lead and intermediate full-stack lead developers to take Nectarine Credit to the next level. We are an enterprise fintech software application looking to eliminate the cumbersome business credit application and credit decisioning process.
• While we are a Canadian company, the position is virtual as we are a distributed workforce.
• The ideal candidate can work across the stack Elixir, GraphQL, React but we appreciate engineering talent in all forms

GOALS

• We are looking for developers that can assist at every level of the product life-cycle, helping us digest customer/prospect feedback into product designs, develop those mockups into working features and manage the project and deliverables along the way.

ARCHITECTURE

The product is built in a client-server pattern using:

• Elixir (Phoenix)
• Javascript (React)
• Styled Components
• GraphQL
• With the infrastructure largely being hosted on Heroku (backend), Netlify (frontend), Auth0 (identity), and AWS (object storage).

REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidates have in-house experience with all of these technologies but that's not necessarily required.
• Applicants must have enterprise B2B software experience and be comfortable with customer-facing responsibilities/meetings.
• Applicants must thrive under the pressure and twists and turns that come with start-up life.
• Verbal and written communication skills are key.

WHAT MAKES A CANDIDATE STAND OUT?

Our goal is to find a talented engineer, full stop. Below is a list of requirements that will help you stand out:

• Have developed at least one production quality application in Elixir or Ruby
• Has written at least one production application in React, Nextjs, Preact, or Remix.
• Understands at a high level what Graphql is and has used a library like Apollojs in the past
• Working hours overlap 9am - 6pm PT by at least 4 hours
• Has references for past clients or employers
• Is a great communicator both written and verbal
