Full-time Business Credit Analyst

Nectarine Credit is looking for a full-time, experienced business credit analyst. The role is responsible for working directly with clients on their credit needs. Applicants must:

  • Be able to analyze credit applications and bureau credit reports.
  • Have ability to assess creditworthiness of credit applicants.
  • Be able to perform due diligence and make key credit recommendations.
  • Have sound knowledge of assessing and reviewing financial statements.
  • Have amazing communication and writing skills, with an ability to write credit recommendations.
  • Have at least 4+ years of experience in credit analytics, lending, financial, ratio and risk analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or finance, Master's degree is preferred.
  • U.S. and Canadian applicants only.

The Role:

Analyze data received from credit applications, bureau reports and other sources to make credit decisions for clients based on their credit policies. These clients are extending vendor credit to their customers, not lending them capital. You'll need to think of yourself as a "virtual credit manager," jumping in and out of different scenarios for different clients, all while maintaining a calm and level-headed approach as well as a friendly rapport with clients.

You will report directly to the CEO and be a key player as we built out our technology platform.

Role is virtual and flexible.
